Fall DIY Decor: Perfectly Polaroid

Put down your pumpkin spice latte. Pause your foliage photoshoots. You guys NEED to make this cute polaroid-hanging-indy-vibe-stick-holder-thing. I named it myself.

Taken from some Urban Outfitters inspiration, I really wanted to create this decor piece that can really complete your indy vibe collage wall. For this DIY you will need:

♦ A stick

♦ Yarn and/or twine

♦ Polaroid pictures (or any pictures of your choice!)

♦ Scissors and Tape

You’re going to start by taking your stick (sidetone: I literally went in the woods behind my dorm and got one. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but it should be as straight as possible!) and tie a strand of twine on both sides to create a hanger. You’re also going to tie three strands spaced evenly on the stick.

Next, you’re just going to tape your polaroid pictures evenly down your strands. Pro tip: If you don’t have a polaroid camera, just print our your photos from Instagram and glue them on to white paper, leaving an extra large margin along the bottom.

I decided to add tassels on the bottom of the twine for a nice clean look. To learn how to make your own tassels like I did, check out this article from PBTeen.
